5 game ideas about current events

Kids are spending a lot of money on Iphone apps. This could be a game where you discover which apps are being bought the most.
People are losing interest in PSP and Nintendo DS because of smartphones. The idea for this game might be to see out of all the hand held gaming systems which is being bought the least.
People always donate money to charities, they might not be spreading out their money to different ones. A game for this issue could be to see which charities need more donations then the others.
Cell Phones are becoming so unique that they are replacing digital cameras. This game could be to see why somebody would want to take a picture on a cell phone rather than a camera.
Head injuries to football players is a big issue. A game idea should be to see which helmets protect the players better.

Sound in our Game

We will use the sounds for the cars and for hitting objects and the other cars hitting eachother. Sound helps the game seem more realistic. The sounds are a real important part of our game. Here is the link to learn about adding sounds.

The Challenges of Making Our Game

I think we will have many challenges making our game. The design of our game is going to be pretty difficult. Using the flash program is challenging to me.

Problems with My Game Demo

The game demo has many challenges. We have had trouble creating our scenes and also with the code. Another problem we have encountered was the key points. Im positive as the farther the go in the demo,the more problems we will have.

Adding Scenes

When you have scenes the players get to see what you are trying to teach but in a different way. I played Drift Runners in the Playing to Learn and it was teaching about my topic. It is trying to teach the same as what I am.
I have played other games like Drift Runners and they teach about other things relative to timing and Stem.

My thoughts on Paper Prototyping

I liked making the Paper Prototypes because its an early preview of my game. It gives us an idea of what we want to put in our game. Those might not exactly match our final game however. My partner drew all the pictures and I colored them.

What I hope to accomplish as a team

I hope to accomplish many things while in a team. I hope to create a team page. I also hope to create a game demo and the finish the time line. I am hoping to make our game the best game in the whole class.

My synopsis and what Im excited about for the game/

My synopsis: Our game is going to be a racing game. The learning background is going to be about timing when to turn . The game will work to when you hit an obsticle you lose 1 life. When you collect coins during the race,  you get 1 point for each coin, and every 3 coins, you get 1 life.  After each race, there are 3 questions asked about engineering. For every question answered right, you get 1 point. For every question answered wrong, you lose a life. If you win the race, get first place, you can do one upgrade to your car.  If you lose all your life... game over.

I am excited about starting this game because it's going to be a challenge. I haven't reallly worked with flash in the past so its kind of new to me. I am creating a racing game because they are fun and they teach you things. Even though its going to take some time I will enjoy creating this game.

My favorite site to play games is not doppler. This site has many different and fun types of games. I have played on this site for some time now. This site is a really good site to play games.

what type of game i hope to create

I hope to create a racing game when we go teams. I enjoy playing racing games because they are fun to me. I hope to create a nice simple but fun racing game.

Problems with the mini game

I have had a few problems in creating this mini game. I didn't change the instance names the first time it told me to. I also put the action code in the wrong spot from time to time. I forgot the place I left off the other day and had trouble finding my place. My game didn't work for the longest time until I had help.

What I think about the mini game

I like the mini game so far. It is just a simple game but it gives you experience with code . It gives you the basic concept on how to create a game. The game is a cool game that deals with a bunny, wolf and a carrott.
Overall I have enjoyed creating this mini game.

What I think about Flash.

I enjoy flash. It is a very interesting program. It has alot of cool and exciting features. I hope to learn alot more about this program.

I hope to learn about the different programs that the computer has. I also hope to learn about the different programs that are on the internet.

This class and my thoughts and future hopes.

So far I have liked  this class not gonna lie. This class is fun because I get to talk to my friends and I like being on the computer too. This class is very enjoyable because the teacher is pretty cool.

 hopes for this class is to learn more about flash. There are other programs that we could learn about and I hope we do learn about them. I hope to learn alot more and having fun in this class.

My favorite genre of game

The best genre of games on the learn to play was the racing games. I reallly enjoy racing games because they are fun to me. My favorite game from the genre was Drift Runners. I enjoyed this game becasue it was dealing with cars. The game didn't have the best looking graphics ever but the game was still fun. I also liked that if you collected the coins or won a race, you could upgrade your car. The tracks were fun and also a little bit difficult.  

What I hope to do in the Globaloria course.

I hope to learn many things during this course. I have already created a wiki page and now I just created a blog. I am going to create a game but at this time I am unsure of what it is going to be. This class seems like it is going to be a fun and exciting class. I hope to learn alot from this class.
