Adding buttons

Adding buttons is a key to our demo. When we have buttons it allows us to manuever from screen to screen. It makes things very simple because all you have to do is click the button. Adding buttons is very simple but effective process.

Scenes

Our game has a sequence of scenes and they show the runner as they complete race. Depending on how many questions the player gets correct will determine how fast the runner is.

Topic on final game

Our game topic is tweening. The reason we need to tween is because our game is about running, This tool is very crucial to our game design. We could improve this by making things more realistic.

New idea from our game

I have learned from my game how to run. I wasn't really sure how to run before but now after extensive research I now know out how to run properly.

Why i chose my topic?

I chose the topic of running for my game because I like to run. I am a sprinter so running fast interest me. This is a cool topic to research.

Do I play games?

Yes I play games on the internet and my favorite is Bubble Shooter. This game is really fun and I play it often. The point of this game is to get three or more of the same color bubbles in a row and they bust. After attempting to make a game demo this makes me realize that making a game is very complicated and makes me appreciate the people who make them even more.

Expectations of this class

My expectations of this class are about the same as Globaloria 1. I am wanting to learn how to make a game and learn how to use the programs. I already took the Globaloria 1 and got familiar with the flash program. I'm just hoping to finish my design from the 1st class.

Learning about my game.

    No, I haven't learned that much about my topic because my partner and I haven't got to the question part of our game yet. I know about what to look for in a racing game but I am not too familiar with the STEM subject.
    I would tell them to make their sites easier to find the information that I will be looking for. Making the site easier would greatly help my learning-process and make it more enjoyable. I would also tell them to make the sites more informative.
    I have done some intense research about our game topic to help myself learn about STEM. I can improve it by taking more responsiblity in making this game. I can help myself in the future by learning more about different subjects by learning them by myself
